Suji Ka Halwa
A quick and easy breakfast or evening snack that's loved by all ages!
Ingredients
- 4 cups Water
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 2 cups Suji
- 1.5 cups Sugar
- 1 handful Cashews
- 1 handful Raisins
Steps
Heat the ghee in a pan on medium heat. Once melted, add in the suji and stir frequently.

Once the suji is golden or light brown, set the mix aside.

In a pot, heat water and add in sugar and saffron. Wait until most of the sugar has dissolved.

Once the sugar has dissolved, add in the suji from earlier. Let this boil on medium heat, and stir frequently to keep the halwa from sticking to the pot.

Once the halwa has thickened enough to hold its shape, turn off the heat.

Garnish with raisins and cashews, and serve warm.
